our founder is the heart behind bacq. tennis has been her world since high school, and her fierce two-handed backhand earned her the nickname ‘miss backhand’—inspiring the name bacq. when an injury paused her time on the court, she channeled that fire into designing the tennis dress she’d always wanted but could never find. she saw a gap: nothing was chic, sustainable, and versatile enough. fueled by her lifelong passion for a healthy and active lifestyle, she envisioned clothing that moves seamlessly from the court to a post-match brunch, keeping wellness and style at the core. so we’re building bacq—a brand that’s personal, elegant, and rooted in the game we love.
